Dumped by text message after 9 years

I was with my girlfriend for the better part of 9 years. We were engaged at one time but we did fight quite a bit so the marriage part of it never progressed. We spent Valentines Day together and had a good day. We had gotten into an arguement the following week and hadn't talked for several days. Well, next thing I know it's Friday night and I'm about to go to sleep when I get a text message from her. I'm thinking either she wants to fight some more or wants to talk. So I check the text message and unbelievably, she says she is with someone else now and sent me a picture of him even. I was stunned and in disbelief. This had to be some kind of joke.... it wasn't. She has proceeded to send more text messaged and voicemails of their time together and just generally been about as cruel and awful as someone can be. It's been about 6 or 7 weeks now and I'm still feeling completely lost and messed up in the head. Not like it was the first few weeks but definetly I am still not myself. After this ordeal, I'm staying single for quite a while.
