Locked out
Have you seen my keys?
In the middle of making dinner the other night and I realise I'm out of a vital ingredient so I grab my purse and canvas shopping bag and rush off to the corner shop to get what i need.
When I get home I realise I've forgotten my keys and now can't get back in the house! not only that but I didn't take my phone with me meaning I can't call my in-laws (who have a spare key) because I don't know their number. I also don't know my other-half's mobile number (he's away from home on business)
I get back to the shop but they don't have a pay phone, the local payphone 10 minutes away is broken and I end up in the local library, who also don't have a payphone but the nice lady lets me use their office phone.
The only phone number I know off by heart is my parents, so I call them but they also don't have my in-laws number or my other halfs mobile. So they end up calling my brother, who calls my other half, who calls his parents, who then comes to my rescue.
DOH !!
