Have you seen my keys?
Misplaced my keys a few days ago in the house. Upon asking my housemate if they'd seen then their massive intellect managed this response:
"Are they where you last left them?"
"No you fucking moron, that would be the first place I looked!!!" was the response that ran through my head, but didn't come out.
I got a pair cut from his spare in the end but I just wanted to vent about the sheer idiocy of the people who come out with that answer. It's as if they think they're being super logical to the point that they are on par with Sherlock bloody Holmes.
Do me a favour, next time you get that response please slap the person who utters it :)
You could also go one further; punch them in the mouth, knock out a tooth and when they ask "whereish my toof?" you can reply "It's where you left it..."
