Our office has an underground carpark that's supposed to be locked at midnight. I come back to the office at 11.30 to find the whole place locked down early with my car trapped inside the garage... My first response was that it wasn't too much of a problem, I'd get a taxi home and and taxi back to the office the next morning. However it dawned on me that I'd left my house keys in the car for "Safe keeping" ... which (if you're paying attention) is locked in the garage
:(
Several phonecalls to the office reception desk, security desk and security mobile but afer half an hour (in the rain) it's obvious our night guard is tucked up somewhere cozy and asleep.
I'm writing this at 1am from my friends house who has kindly let me stay for the night until I can go back to work in the morning and have a rant about the night security guard.
Although in all honesty I shouldn't really have been stupid enough to leave my house keys in the car - DOH !!
