I applied for a restaurant job washing dishes. Why? Because I'm a student, I've only ever done labour jobs, and Christmas is around the corner. Ok fine. I go to THREE seperate interviews for this dishwashing position, they all seem fine. Then, I go to orientation, which is supposed to be paid, and the HR guy, who just got back from a 2 week damn holiday decides he doesnt like me. 'I feel that if we worked together, we would eventually reach an impass. I can't explain it better than that.' These are his words. So basically, I got fired before I got hired because of my shitty personality. I guess it makes sense. I was being kind of quiet and they like extremely social people at these places, and girls rarely work that kind of job but this guy was definitely suffering from middle management syndrome, and likely an unfortunate endowment. I was polite though, he was just doing his job. Just like all of us. I just wonder when the hell this university shit is going to start paying off?? I'm in third year and totally broke. Anyone else in third year and totally fucking broke??? Let's hear about it.
