Egyptian Property
I was ripped off
Over three years ago I along with other nationalites bought property in Sharm el sheikh, egypt with the promise of completion in three months to one year. After many lawyers who always want paying up front and bogus court cases (all egypt is corrupt) we still do not have any green area, security, sat. tv, resturant, supermarket, pool bar or even a pool. I advise anyone who reads this not to buy off plan anywhere in Egypt.

Egyptian sold these to us, from Egyptians and lawyers were egyptian and spocke arabic/english all said there were no problems but as I said we have found them to be all corrupt.

Dodgy Egyptians! No offense to my Egyptian friend 'Sherif', as far as I know he's pretty sound. Thanks for the tip Robert, will stay clear of 'off plan' purchases in foreign countries...you know...if I ever did have money to buy :)
