I have no idea what happened

After ending my last relationship I started talking to this guy. At first we wuld jus party 2gether but then after a while we started hanging out more, he even introduced me 2 his son and his family. We talked for about 5 months until about the midst of August. He started acting really different towards the last 2 months (like not being affectionate, intimate, doubtful and angry), which 2 me might have been signs of cheating. One day towards the end of august we were talking on the phone on afternoon and after some time of akward silence he told me "I'm going to go shower and i'll call you back tonight". Well hours passed and at about 11pm after not receiving a call from him I decided to text him "well so much for getting a call from u tonight"... No reply. Next day, no call, no text... For a whole week. Until finally oneday i get a text that said "i miss u & dont want to lose u" then that was that.. Didnt get anymore calls or texts afterthat. Idk wtf happened.
