friendless

My best friend of about 6 years just recently came out to me and told me he was gay. He admits that he had been avoiding me the past few weeks before he came out to me because he was afraid of how I would take it. I was the last person to know. Now that I know...he still seems to be avoiding me, and when i try to make an effort, he doesn't show one in return. I havent seen or hunt out with him in over a month.
